Adopt a Shepherd / Boston Terrier / Mixed (short coat)
Norma (foster needed) the Dog needs a home
For Adoption:
Norma is a 2 year old spayed female and weighs about 40lbs. She is a possible mix of Shepherd/Boston Terrier/Border Collie/Heeler. It is pretty safe to say she is a mixed breed. Norma was chained in a back yard and had given birth to puppies that all died. She is sweet, a little reserved, walks well on a leash, and gets along amazingly with other dogs, but barks at cats. She was with 20 other dogs that were living in horrible conditions. When she was spayed the vet said she had an infected uterus from repeatedly having puppies. Norma is one of 11 rescued from a hoarding situation. The other breeds of dogs on the property ranged from 15lbs up to 45lbs. There are still 9 left waiting to be rescued from a hoarding situation in TN. These dogs are mixed breeds and have more breeds in the mix than we can count. She would do best in a home without small children since she has not been properly socialized for most of her life. Norma may nip if she gets frightened so she will need an experienced foster/owner. If you can foster Norma please contact us at 610-970-7500.
